“We are like islands in the sea, separate on the surface but connected in the deep.”
― William James
People reach out to a psychologist for various reasons. Sometimes, it is due to a crisis, or a traumatic experience. Often is is because of struggles with depression or anxiety, difficult relationships, or challenging life transitions. And sometimes, people are looking to do deeper work and are interested in finding ways to live more meaningful, fuller, and happier lives.
Our work is both evidence-based and holistic, utilizing a variety of strategies like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Therapy Systems (IFS), psychodynamic therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP), Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Therapy (PSIP), art therapy, mindfulness, and attachment-based therapies.
We have worked with people with a variety of needs and conditions, but we never worked with you! As psychologists and therapists, we are only experts in psychological processes, but it is you who are the expert of the content of your life. Therefore, our work with you will be mutual and interactive, and tailored to your unique needs and circumstances.
